My dad was a professional photographer, and I grew up with a fascination for cameras. When I went to college for design, I decided to minor in studio photography which is where I began my professional career. Since then, I have strived to push myself when it comes to exploring light and shadow with both digital and film photography.

Much of my work highlights contrast: natural vs architectural, color vs black and white, light vs darkness, order vs chaos. When I work on a commercial shoot, I leverage these contrasts to make my work feel dynamic and eye-catching. When I shoot for pleasure, I aim to push this even more so that I can use photography to appreciate my surroundings.
